Presenting his advanced structural annuity planning to thousands of individuals through dinner seminar venues, Gerald Baum brings to his clients a substantial academic background coupled with an extraordinary business acumen that can only be acquired by “true grit” business ownership and management. His business experience brings added value in the practical application of the concepts necessary to successfully navigate through the complexities of retirement planning.

Gerald received his B.A. Degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa and his Master’s Degree from Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. Mr. Baum voluntarily retired his FINRA Series 6, Property & Casualty License and his Variable Annuity License to focus entirely on retirement planning using fixed products. His primary goals are the elimination of risk and the establishment of safe structures to provide reliable and consistent income for his clients throughout their retirement.

Gerald Baum has been working in the financial industry for twenty-five years and has been involved in the development of a number of successful business ventures. He is currently the President and CEO of Baum Financial Services, Inc. located in Spring Hill and Fruitland Park, Florida. Mr. Baum is establishing new offices in Sarasota and Naples, scheduled to open in September of 2009.

Bernard Ter Keurst, CPA, is a local resident who has roots in the Tampa Bay area, having lived here during high school and returning after attending Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI for undergraduate studies to continue on with his Master’s of Accounting at the University of Florida. Most of his early career was in Orange County, CA where he worked for a variety of industries, including transportation, high-tech bio, medical and photographic industries. There he served in Controller/Director of Finance roles for small to mid-sized companies. In 2004 he returned to Florida to be closer to family and to enjoy the tropical climate and beaches that Florida has to offer. He is a Florida CPA, and enjoys boating, photography, and spending time with extended family near his residence in Holiday, FL.
